I become passionate about too many things. This summer I\u2019ve\nbeen going to u-pick fruit farms with two of my friends and turning my haul\ninto freezer jam. So far, I\u2019ve turned 70 pounds of strawberries, 50 pounds of\npeaches, and 20 pounds of raspberries into jam. There\u2019s about 20 pounds of\nblueberries sitting in my deep freeze, waiting to be next. I need more\ncontainers first\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Next, I’ve been training the past several months for my\ntriathlon I completed last weekend at Hagg Lake. It was so fun and\ninspirational; I\u2019m already starting my training for it again next year and\ntalked my husband into competing too. My three-year-old thinks he will race\nwith us. He wanted to start \u201ctraining\u201d today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Third, I was at my local city council meeting again a couple\nnights ago representing our Library Board. An amnesty program that my board\nmembers and I have been working on all summer got approved by the council and\nwill start August 1st<\/sup>. It\u2019s so exciting to be part of the changes\nhappening in our little library.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jam, racing, hiking, libraries, writing\u2026 These are only a\nfew things I\u2019m passionate about at the moment.
